    Meh. Nice effort, though.

Nice voices as usual, my friend. I especially like the Sideswipe Vs Sideways.
How come the voice of Optimus Prime in the beginning was different than when he was in action?

Is it a good or a bad thing that this sounds better than what we actually got?:p

    Kidding...kind of...I love the G1 effects:)

I'm not going to lie here: Even for G1 standards (this applies to all upcoming sentences), the dialogue is excruciating. The sound effects are cheesy, distracting, and off-putting. Voice cast courtesy of the W.T.F. Agency. Accenting and inflection in the speech is way off. Subtitles needed proofreading. Badly. Not too many marks above an average anime dub. Overall, a terribly unconvincing effort. Hard to tell what's intentionally bad and what's not. Props for trying though.

i thought it was pretty good man! i think the voice effects got in the way a bit and the voices could've been more distinguished, but overall really sweet. arcee and lennox sounded great, as did sideswipe/ways. Prime and Ironhide could use some work. favorite/funniest line from lennox: "Alright Ironhide there are Decepticons in the area. We think... they are over there!"

Oh shit, I forgot to mention, I didn't make this video. I do play the voices of Ironhide, Demolishor, Sideways and Sideswipe though. The creator of the video is MaxLindenProduction, he is also in the process of creating a G1 Abridged series as well.

What are you crazy? The BGM is better than most we get in cartoons nowadays. Most of the time its crazy techno.

I thought the video was great. Maybe tone down the voices a bit as they really overpower the SFX in some parts, but otherwise great job.

Hmm, combining G1 music and sounds effects with the movie wasn't as bad as i thought it'd be. Quite entertaining.

Sideways going "No no noooooo!" like Sam was kinda funny!

The main dude in charge, Max of MaxLindenProductions, has taken notice to this thread and would like to answer any questions you all may have. So I shall post his responses.

    Max: Audicity.

Max: It was a voice over, where he is relaxed and explaining the story....But in battle Optimus Prime's voice changes from Relaxed to Epic and Loud and so forth.

Everything here. The part where Lennox says they have detected decepticons, then immediately lists off the names makes it sound like he's going to attack the Autobots.

Still, it's videos like this that make me welcome the "mute metal monsters" of the actual film...

Interesting concept, but I really think the voices don't need to all be so, how do you say, "metallic." They need to be more unique, and the voice effect was just plain distracting. If it's supposed to be G1 style, I don't understand why all the voices have that.

    Still, great idea though!
