Ive just seen RTS Special Ops Jazz and Tracks at a Dublin(Jervis St) branch of Smyths.

Small quantities. Didn't see Mindset or Outback.

In the Xmas frenzy they were probably assumed to be the same price as the clearance Deluxes.

If you go shopping for these make sure you have enough cash in case they're full price.

For those of you who don't know:

Smyths are an Irish toy chain with an expanding presence in the U.K.

They don't always source from Hasbro UK... there is a possibility these came from elsewhere.

However, they've probably ordered these in large quantities as they're a mass retailer.

Although your nearest branch may not have any in stock yet.

Online orders: Smyths don't do online orders for individual characters in case assortments. They're essentially a mass retailer, not a specialty store.

If you chance your arm with an online order, you'll probably get Elita 1 and Sea Attack Ravage.

Great news, let's hope we get more than just two waves this time.

If it's anything like mine then the comma button is right next to the space bar and they're all too bloody small!

*raises eyebrow* Well, I know where I shall be going after work.

Except... oh, buggeration! I put those two on my Christmas list, hoping my brother who lives in Singapore might track them down. Can't buy them even if I see them in case he has!!

    EDIT: NINE EURO FIFTY??

EDIT EDIT: Ah, no, no, wait, I know, I'll BUY them and not open them. So then if he has bought me them, I'll just return the ones I bought in true Christmas fashion. And if he hasn't, then I'm fine! Plan sorted. Let's rock. Roll on 6 o'clock.

I should also add: By the time RTS makes widespread distribution in the UK, or the rest of Europe.... there is still some possibility that they'll have moved onto Wave 2.

    Hopefully not.

    Ring them?

Was it just Jazz and Tracks as the only new figures in this wave?

I've scrubbed the preorder for the United versions.

Jazz is a marginal improvement, and whilst Tracks has more G1-ish flames, a stamped chest logo, wing details..... the metallic blue really bugs me.

Outback and Mindset are the other two new toys in this Wave.

There's an outside chance they were never in the case... it wouldn't be the first time Hasbro UK were sent a revised Deluxe case.
(assuming these did come from them)

It's also possible they simply sold out. Hailstorm has become scarce around here, and i don't believe Brawn was ever at standard retail in Ireland.

Oh yeah, those two repaints, no wonder I'd forgotten about them.

I'm flying to Ireland on Monday (unless I'm snowed in), but I'm going to be nowhere near Dublin. I hope they sell RTS in county Clare.

No Smyths in Clare, nearest is Limerick or Galway. Smyths probably have about 80-90% of the toy market in this country.

Gah! I was about to say that!

I have enough trouble trying the find the wave 4 Generations toys here in THIS Dublin, but to have the original city of Dublin to get Reveal the Shield first is just annoying. :banghead:  Stupid Columbus, OH and its crappy toy distribution.

I thought wave 4 generations hadn't been released in this part of the world at all?
