NO, Jazz lives in a bad neighborhood. They'd get jacked! Just a super magnet, man. In robot mode, Jazz has 2 screws behind his shoulders. If you remove them before paint,m they serve a great points of magnetic connection. His shoulder rocket (or shoulder dong) is made up from a Classics Prowl Shoulder rocket and an Energon Shockblast missile tip. Once you make that, attach it the magnet and WHAMMO! I shove it inside the car during Alt mode so you wont loose any spare parts.
Nice, but I have to disagree about the head. The Botcon one looks awful, the new one is a thousand times better.
Really? Don't you think he looks like he was stung buy something and he's having an allergic reaction? I know the rear of the replacement head leaves something to be desired, but I feel the face captures the G1 character exceptionally.
Beautiful work all round. The paintjob really helps bring out the details, and the decals are a great touch. I think the only thing that I dislike at all is the shoulder launcher; not that it doesn't look realistic at all, so much as it just doesn't look quite right for Jazz. But that's a tiny niggle for me. I think I prefer the stock head too; while the big frown doesn't really do it for me (and may possibly get resculpted if I get hold of the fig), I think the head in general does look better than the Botcon one, especially for this mould.
Where are you guys getting the awesome martini sticker sets from? awesome jazz custom. i couldn't stomach painting the entire area of my jazz custom. i think the hardest part for me was getting the correct off white mix to cover the main headlamps. Great job! Z
Thanks, man. Like all of the decals you see on my customs, I make the graphics myself and then either print them myself or have someone else (Boggs6ft7!!) print them. I usually use Adobe Illustrator and create them in a vector file.
i figured that was how. i just wish a had a good printer. do you have the file you could send me? i could have my print shop at work print it up. but then i guess i would have to cut the decals out too. i have been searching for the model sets, but not sure of what scale.
