Not sure if this was mentioned here:
Reveal the Shield Jazz Running Change
Interesting. I have the first version with black molded arms painted in white. Since the details in the spaces of his forearms are so small, it end sup looking like weathering for those bits.
waiting for the united one..just too sweet too pass up.
its not a running change, we've had a few which we have sold to friends which have had either painted or just molded plastic
Yeah mine is plastic, from the European release.
Phazer! Now there's a name I haven't heard in a long time.
As soon as I read the quote I thought the same thing. And I'm not sure which version I have but it looks good to me.
*Looks at my RTS Jazz with painted forearms*
Meh, I won't lose sleep over it.
I have the painted version, which looks much nicer IMO.
There seem to be a number of variations I've seen or heard about in RTS Jazz at this point.
* In Package: Jazz's gun either packed away under the hood of the car, or on display in the tray.
* Shoulder joints assembled using either rivets or screws.
* Forearms either molded in white plastic, or painted white.
* Chest either locks down adequately or doesn't at all in robot mode.
I'm not sure which of those fall under 'running changes' or QC variances, however.
Yeah, this has all been covered in the feedback thread.
If you look at the right angle, you can see Jazz's forearms in the package. Unfortunately it's still hard to tell if they are molded or painted, although I have my suspicion that I've only seen painted ones and if I saw a molded one, I could probably tell.
How do you tell if they are painted?
Separate names with a comma.
