Looks kind of plain in car mode but otherwise phenomenal. I'll preorder the United one just in case. BRING ON THE STEPPER REPAINT! Call his targetmaster Ricochet and you set both the original and US names! Win-win!

    I really like this figure!

Theres just a few minor things that irk me a little. I kinda wish his speakers were by his waste like in the show. And i wish he wasn't frowning. It doesn't fit his personality. And yeah the head could be a lil bigger. Any chance some one can do a head sculpt add on for him? with a smile? lol

All in all though, I'm really glad they made a jazz figure and will most definitely be picking him up.

Botcon jazz's head sculpt is still way better but for 12 bucks I'm game. Maybe I'll head swap and see what it looks like.

I don't know why some people are whinging about a lack of paint ap's etc. cos IMO he looks pretty damned nice. All I can say is - I can't believe it took until Classics 3.0 for us to finally get a decent Classics Jazz! :lol

I'm not sure I see what's making people say his legs are movie styled, they look fairly "normal" to me. I can certainly get behind the tiny head complaint, but he's still a definite buy.

I dunno, the head size looks about right to me, but maybe some were hoping for something more along these lines:

I do miss the shoulder cannon though. Maybe if we're lucky a fan company will do that and charge double the cost of the actual figure.

I'm hoping for some comparison photos to get a better feel for the toy's size (and its head size) relative to other Classiverse toys. (never looked small to me until you jerks started piping up ... hate you guys! :)  )

I'm thinking those looking for a shoulder cannon for Jazz can just raid their Generations/HFTD toys for something suitable, and clip it to the door if there's no mounting point closer in.

It's funny that when looking at the new Jazz and G1 Jazz next to it you realise that, aside from articulation, G1 Jazz still looks superior in every single way.

That's my biggest problem with Classics in general. They're not the leap-forward that one would expect 25 years later.

BT and Alternity on the other hand. :)

I do think the head looks disproportionately small, but that doesn't mean I'm devastated by it, or even bitching about it, or really even care about it much at all. I always thought the G1 toy had a tiny head too and it never stopped me from loving the toy.

As for the observation about movie-style legs, he does look a bit goat-legged in some pics but I think it's due to the hinge in the middle of the lower leg. You can probably just straighten that part to your liking.

All in all I can't wait to get this guy. Jazz and Windcharger were my two first TF toys when I was a kid and having updated versions of them come out at the same time (relatively) is giving me a bit of hypernostalgia. :)

Totally awesome funny that he's in the same wave as Tracks kinda like his spotlight. I wonder if those doors are removable?
