"Rad is a two-fisted 'bot of science. Equally at home on the battlefield and in the laboratory, Rad's inherent level-headedness keeps his quick-tempered partner Lionizer from atomizing everything in their path. It also makes him incredibly popular amongst his teammates because of his sheer amount of skill, though he never lets it get to his head, nor does he let those few who hate him for his skills get him down.

Rad was present when Optimus Prime asked a group of Autobots (including Jazz, Over-Run, Prowl, Sprocket, and Wheeljack) if they were willing to join him in giving up the power of transformation to become "stronger, faster, and more alive". Rad was only behind Jazz in volunteering, enthusiastically yelling at Prime to count him in.

Rad was present on Garrus-9 when Banzai-Tron and his Decepticon Secret Service bombarded the penitentiary. It is unknown if Rad survived the explosion in which he and Jackpot were caught"

Until now! Rad has survived, although sevearly damaged in the explosion, his body had to be nearly completely reconstructed, returning him to his original transformers state! His friend Jackpot, wasn't so lucky however. Now fully restored, Rad returns to the front lines, vowing to avenge his fallen friend!

I used Cybertron Smokescreen for this one. Which is appropriate because of this:

"According to deco artist Joe Kyde, the deluxe Smokescreen figure in the Cybertron toyline is intended as more of an homage to Rad than the original Smokescreen himself. "

Great job there. Have you thought about turning his weapon/spoiler into Lionizer somehow? Regardless if he's dead or not, I'd like to see an updated Jackpot figure. He was the black Ferrari Testarosa, right?

Great work I wouldn't have thought of using this mold for Rad. Here I was disappointed that I got the Smokescreen repaint of this mold after seeing this done up as Actionmaster Jackpot, but now I can make him into Rad :)

I use to have a Rad and Lionizer back in the day, but it was trashed...damn time. Anyways I thought Cybertron Smokescreen look alike Rad, but still I couldn't remember the name intil now. So the custom is awesome and its "Rad". LOL

Awesome. He would look great with my Boss custom paint I did. Never knew how neat that mold was until I painted it. Very nice.

Thanks! I thought it made a lot of sense too! XD

It should! The toy was actually more of a homage to Rad to begin with. :thumb

    Thanks!

Thanks! And yeah, I thought it was time the Action Master get what they deserve!

    Thanks!

Yes, because I like my transformers toys to transform. XD

I don't know if I can do that, but I think doing Jackpot would be much easier, considering the main paint job of the original figure is already pretty close.

    And thanks. =3

    Thank you. ^__^

    Yes, yes he is. XD

If I can ever find another figure of this mold, I definetly would!

And that wasn't enough for e, so I took Cybertron SS into my own hand, just for the hell of it. XD

Yeah, the original mold makes for a SO much better Rad than smokescreen. How many homages does that guy need anyway!? XD

Yeah, I noticed it too, so I did a little research, and I discovered that this mold was more so MENT to be a homage to Rad. XD

    And thank you. =3

    Awesome and RAD.

    LOL, thank you. XD

Yeah, I don't think anyone really realized the potential of this mold.

    Thank you. ^___^

I know right! I already had classics smookscreen, so when my friend gave me this version, I was like ".....um.....WTF AM I SUPPOSE TO DO WITH THIS!?

So I did some digging, and realized tha Cybertron SS would make for an awesome Rad!

Thank you and you're welcome. :thumbs2:

    Thank you! XD

Your welcome, Tanukiyasha. I see I guess the company wanted to do Rad, but couldn't get his name trademarked so I quess they went and did Smokescreen and many other repaints. To me I think he'll make a good Jazz, my take because its different and very badass.
