Retro style Goonies figures!?

    Just saw this over on Toyark a few minutes ago...

    How was this not something I saw being mentioned as being worked on before is quite surprising.

    I love the Kenner style retro packaging like the classic Star Wars figures had to go with the retro style figures.

    Last time Goonies figures were attempted was quite a while ago I recall with more realistic sculpts that I seem to recall were also basically statues and they never got past 'Wave 1'.

    Hopefully this will succeed and we'll get the rest of the Goonies as well as the Fratellis.

    Frankly, I'm not fond of this movement towards "retro" inaction figures. "Want to find the treasure, but so stiff." Retro seems to be just a code word for "we couldn't be bothered to give these guys any articulation."

    Give me Goonies that can move and bend, please.
