I just hope, that after all this time waiting, that the game doesn't wind up being terrible. It looks great, and I love the idea. I just want it to play well.

True. I've been going around emailing some friends who have played it to get an opinion, since it's digital only. A friend of mine loved the time he spent with it. I hope it doesn't suck. I do like that buying it on the PS3 automatically gets you the Vita version with cross-save.

Well I picked it up last night and played for a bit. Thankfully, the game is pretty rad. I absolutely adore all the different options for visual style of the game. The game play is smooth as well, which was my biggest concern going in. They did a great job with the music as well. Hope they release that at some point.

The only real problem I see right now is that the story moves a bit too quickly in the opening section. There's little to no time to establish anything before you're thrown from parody to parody. Thankfully, after about 30 minutes of story, things smooth out a bit and you can establish your pace.

I tried it and kinda liked it. Will have to spend another coiple of sessions to see if I buy it or not, I've too many XBL games I buy on impulse and hardly play.

I did love it when I saw the Mario Brothers setup in the sewers, and later the TMNTs came above ground to attack me. Nice.
