    I need some assistance:

What are the biggest modern TFs with lower legs that retract in a sliding motion, covering up the upper leg?

    Think like:
G1 Springer, Astrotrain, Hot Rod, Tracks etc?

Sizewise I'm thinking Voyager to Ultra/Leader class.

If there's not a suitable 'donor', how hard would it be to custom make legs like these? Suggestions as to how I'd go about it?

    Thanks! :)

Classics/Universe Jetfire has legs like those. Not sure if it would work for what you are doing.

    Masterpiece Skywarp/Starscream does too.

I think Anemis or Lobo made some from scratch on one of their customs. ... might have been Anemis, now that I think about it.

    Thanks guys!

MP Starscream is the most suitable sizewise, but I wonder where I'd find a junker of him...

I found that Armada Jetfire also has those kind of legs, but the design of MP SS is much closer to what I want.

You could also hope for MP Skywarp to go on clearance. =) Aside from a junker or a trade/buy from a forum member, getting SW for $49 from walmart's site would be the cheapest me thinks.

If you can find him at Walmart, he's $11. I actually just grabbed one from Walmart on my way home today. There are still some of him and Onslaught at most of my local ones, as well as the exclusive repaints (but they're not on clearance yet). TRUs have been having 50% off sales, making them $12.50 and they got more for those sales, so they should have some too. Might be a cheap alternative if all else fails with SS/SW.

    Ok,
I've pretty much decided I'll go with MP seeker legs for this project.
Problem is, I don't have one, so to see how it would fit, I need a little assistance.

Could someone help me out and post pics of MP Starscream together with Cybertron Metroplex?

As many pics and angles as you'd like, and preferrably with Metroplex in both robotmodes.

I'll be very grateful for all help, thanks!! :thumb
