Do you think it's possible that the Universe 3.0 (25th ann.) will retain the packaging of Universe 2.0? They did it with Gi-Joe so it is kinda possible.

Honestly, I think it'll have different styled packaging, though at the same time I wouldn't at all be surprised if it had the same packaging (the style is continuing, to a certain degree, threw the rest of this year at the very least). Wouldn't be the first TF toy line to change it's style of toy packaging. Oh, and it's still Universe 2.0. It's not an entirely new line, just a continuation of Universe 2.0. Calling it Universe 3.0 makes absolutely no sense to me, tbh.

Didn't Hasbro mention they were working on new, more environmentally friendly packaging?

Good point. The overall design of Universe may not change. But, then again size and a reduce in materials and less zip ties may just lead them to redesign it anyway.

Either way, doesn't matter, its what's inside the packaging that I want :)

i was thinking the same thing, but then that would probably also mean movie 29 since there seems to be an alternating pattern between the two and that would just kill me. :rip

I want new packaging. The amount of plastic I throw into the recycle bin is insane. I really feel they should go to baggies. I don't care how they look on the shelf, just need the toy inside.

G.I.Joe hasn't been a big noise in a long time, which is why they referenced the packaging from its heyday.

    Transformers on the other hand....
