During my TF inventory cleaning, I managed to dig out this Giant Liokaiser. It was purchased in 1997 in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) at China Town (AKA Petaling Street). It was sold as 6 separated pieces and I still remembered when I bought it, the shop owner asked me if I bought it for myself or bought it for sale (Obviously that shop is a distributor and the shop owner could not tell they were 6 uniquely different toys and thus she thought I was going to do some trading..)

    Enough of the story telling..

This Liokaiser has every tight joints as possible. As you can see from the albow joints, there is screw on it. And I managed to find all the 6 breast beasts. And only problem was that originally there was no extra buttom on the back on the leozack jet plane, which is used essentially to stablise its transformation by inserting into the hole of the racing car (which form the thigh).

What I did is that I used another old toy (Macross base space ship arm button) and use a screw to hold this button on that place and thus in robot mode, the upper body is able to hold tight with the thigh.

    The only drawback are that
    1. Yellowing
    2. Cheap plastic and as such the handler of blue bat is broken
    3. Minor GPS on the golden part. I will take more pictures of this to explain

This piece is actually much playable compared with the G1 size of Liokaiser. And I am interested to lease it out for anyone to reproduce them.

    Let me know your thoughts

    Thanks

Moving to TF Toy Discussion. I'd be interested in this, maybe. If quality was good.

I'm quite happy with the original, however.

Thank. I am thinking how possible if it can be done as it has involved so many parts. So far I can only think of Drako...

    Wow! That is bloody brilliant!

I LOVE the idea that this is basically a 3rd color scheme for the mold (neon skittles though it may be...)

I'm thinking this will be beyond the scope of the hobby repro crowd (and hand-casted copies would be outrageously expensaive anyway) but I'd love to own a giant scale LK for sure!

The only issue I see for this version is the cheap plastic it has. If repro is possible to replace it with a proper hard plastic, this can solve a lot of problem. Everything is there such as breast partners, accessories and even the liokaiser head which does not fall off easily but stay tight on leozack head!

May I know how many ppl in this forum can make this happen?

My thoughts exactly when I see the pictures.

With Botcon introducing the G2 theme this year, I am now able to have these colors settle down well within me. :D

With the giant size of LEOZACK, It can stand and fight man to man with the Star Saber (before the Power up). I will take more photos of the individual part and how they are compared with victory leo and star saber when I am back to Malaysia on 6th Jan

That's right, they'd be close to the same size before the V-Star comes into play.

^ But in that scale, he will be's more than a worthy opponent for Victory Saber!

No, Liokaiser has to take a beating so as to stay "anime-accurate." :lol

Dont you feel that it is very unfair for liokaiser with that original G1 size? it is way too small when compared with Victory Saber!

I prefer to have the Giant Liokaiser to beat Victory Saber man to man

Liokaiser (or any other Destrons) was destined for doom when Star Saber & Victory Leo knew they had the ability to combine into Victory Saber.

Now, even if he didn't perish from Fortress X's cannon blast, Victory Saber would have strangled the spark outta him still so size/scale wouldn't change anything at all. :popcorn

I actually have this exact same version - I bought it, not knowing it was a larger version, for $25 off ebay many years ago.

I like the fact that it has the correct molds and partners, it transforms fine though the tolerances are pretty stiff and unwieldy. I tried a couple of times to repaint them - especially the nasty neon green and orange, and Jargua's red wheels, but the plastic didn't take paint very well, so I still have it in its original colors.

The gold plastic used very sparingly is terrible, it flaked right off most of the parts it was on.

It is pretty impressive when it's all together, but its colors make it kind of laughable as well. Maybe I'll dig it out later, or sell it.

I kind of like bizarre knockoffs when I get them - I think my knockoff of Captain Shark is my favorite, it has stickers all over it that say "Supebiob Wabship"

I think we have the same set where there is not extra BUTTON on the jet butt of leozack to plug into the holes of waist when combining..

Cannot wait to see your pictures! I am quite interested to get this repro and no sure how hard it will be.
