Hi I amn interested in resealing the bubbles on my G1 collection to the backing cards and was wondering if anyone has any advice on the best method to do this? I.e. what glue to use etc. I want to get them as close to perfect as I can.

    thanks

I don't think you can get it perfect, since more than likely there'll be ripping of the image on the cardboard at least.

well, they don't glue it, the seal it with heat.

at least that is what i did, when i did similar things like that, when i did production work.

now where you get what they use for it? i have no idea.

i just hope you're not trying to resell these, as misb... though.

I used superglue when gluing a few Beast Wars bubbles back to their cards where they'd lifted near the bottom. Most superglue brands come in a small plastic tube with a narrow applicator. I nudged the applicator in between the plastic and cardboard, squeezed out a thin bead of glue (don't use too much) and then immediately pressed them together. The great thing is that the glue is liquid enough to kind of spread out and fill in the entire gap and within thirty seconds (you can hold it or use a clamp with rubber ends), card and bubble were back together and if you do it right, it looks as if it never separated in the first place.
