I picked up Optimus a couple of days ago and loved it, so I picked up Bumblebee this afternoon. I am really digging these toys. They are simplistic, but I think the designs are great. I love the chunky, but stylized look. The paint is great, and the plastic is high quality. I am a grown man, and I love Rescue Bots lol.

    Any other thoughts/opinions?

I really like them as well. They are more for my son, but we play together with them.

they're kinda cool, but too expensive. 6 or 8 bucks would be more reasonable.

I certainly agree with this. I think the price may be a deterrent, but then again I haven't done any comparison shopping.

I do have to say that the Optimus Prime playset is pretty awesome.

3rd Party Power Master Rescue Bot Prime!

Wishful thinking aside, Prime's pretty cool indeed.

I have the same opinion on them as I do with Gravity Bots and the newer Activators and whatnot. I'm sure that they're good toys in their own respects, but they're certainly not for me.

I have no interest in them, but if I had kids I'd definitely buy the Rescue Bots for them.

I'd buy a Starscream if they made one, which I know they won't. I have nothing against the style; I just tend to only buy Starscreams in the FAB/Gravity Bot vein.

I still want a Sparkplug, though. I'd probably end up getting Optimus and his human buddy to go with him if they made one.

Optimus is awesome. Immediate inauguration into my Optimus shelf.

Also bought a second for my girlfriends' 5 year old nephew.
