Anyone catch this error in Camp Cody? When Blades first get his hologram he is told not to touch anything while using it,but at the end of the episode he is holding his badge in his holograms hands rather than is real hands.

Sorry for the quality but these are what they look like in Rescue Bots.

 

Just watched the episode... it was TONS OF FUN!!! (you know, Heavy Metal/TONS of BOTS)  

They've been hitting it out of the park this season, or at least these last episodes, they've all been great fun...

Those darn space bridges, crossing streams I guess!  

Thought at first we'd only have "Bounce" the Minicon.... but as Blurr is chasing Bounce, this red sports car pulls up and knocks Blurr out of the way..... Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, It's Sideswipe... but SS thinks Blurr is a Decepticon!!!!  

IIRC, HW called him Sidestreet.  

The bots introduce themselves and of course Blades is wondering if Bee had ever mentioned HIM!

Sideswipe thinks the RB's aren't around anymore.... (believe Bee just didn't mention the GR RB's).... so Sideswipe is thinking back to the old days of Cybertron.

Blurr is conflicted as to whether he wants to try and remain a RB or join Bee's team.... that's why the synopsis said " Blurr's future with the team is called into question"...

Was it me or did Sideswipe sound different? I didn't check that far yet, but sounded like a different VA... his looks was pretty similar to RID, but like OP's and Bee's, more 'kiddified'.  

Well written, lots of good punch lines as usual, and just lots of fun. Gotta watch this episode again!    

 

How does the Mini-Con fit into this episode?

 

It got away from Sideswipe because of the 'crossing apace bridges' so he's chasing it when they both land in GR and Bounce just goes nutz.

Yes, it sounded like him to the t and I'm pretty sure they would have him be the voice to avoid confusion.

 

Just double checked the credits.... it was D. Criss.... honestly, he didn't sound the same as RID Sideswipe, not as 'smart-aleckey' I guess.

 

It was a great episode with lots of points to think about.

We know that the Rescue Bots stopped being a thing either not long before the war or in its early stages, when Cybertronians started long distance space travels again. Sideswipe knows what they are and what happened to them, and since he's not someone who would study history, it means he was there when it happened. It almost confirmes he's the same bot from WfC/FoC/Retribution.
Override being mentioned to remind that Blurr is a Velocitronian.
Decepticon Graffiti reference with Bounce was brilliant. And also the fact it's in augmented reality, so he actually paints Cybertronian version of QR-codes) I guess he was arrested for his paintings and property damage.
Also a reminder that during/after the war word "Dinobot" has changed its meaning from "a member of Grimlock's group" to "any transformer with a dinosaur mode". Still not sure why becoming a dinosaur changes your brain module (like Grimlock said in "Brainpower"), but whatever.
And now we know that Energize tools need the voice command to work, and it's not just the bots showing off.

 

Great to see more crossover action between the 2 current shows. These really are like premium episodes (like "Uninvited Guest" earlier in the season). Really good way to tie the G1 episode count at 98...at least until next Saturday.

Isn't it weird how we're getting more blatent crossovers with the other currently airing show, despite the fact it's on a """""rival"""" network? I'm not complaining, I'm liking this, makes the world seem bigger. Hope RiD returns the favour.

 

This was an interesting episode.

I'll admit, I took the spoiler with a grain of salt, but when it proved true I was still surprised.

I loved the on the nose comment from Dani about Jerry and his hauling. Overall, it was a fun episode.

 

Amazingly, I took it with a grain of salt too... just didn't want to believe they'd have anybody but OP and Bee in RB.  

After watching it again, I really loved the introduction scene,

...and Sideswipe's aversion to humans. I didn't remember him with that problem on RID... of course, it's only 2 humans for the most part.

Hilarious to hear the original RB's critique SS's Robot Mode: "The Bee Bop Boop was a bit much"  

Chase didn't like being compared to a 'Scraplet'!! Bringing in a little more TFP.

Clean My Pistons! don't think we've heard that on RB b4.

Loved Bounce's graffiti... especially Jaws on the beach billboard!

Servo wasn't a Sideswipe fan... grrrr.

Chase had to discuss speed limits with Don.. once again.  

Glad Blurr seemed to mature a bit as a RB too....and didn't get a spot on the Bee team.... at least not yet..
