What is a good way to tighten pin joints? My TFA Shockwave's knees are pretty loose, along with a few more of my TFs. Would putting nail polish over it work, and maybe it would leak down into the joint, maybe? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

superglue trick. dab a bit into the joint and move it around until the glue cures. There aren't many other options with the pin.

Would clear nail polish work? I'd feel kinda nervous with superglue...

Pledge Floor Wax with Future Finish. It's magical.

What, just put it over the joint and work it? And, sorry if I sound like a broken record, but would clear nail polish work?

Clear nail polish works too. It just isn't as permenant as superglue.

So how exactly does it work? You pour it on a joint that's loose and work it until it's dry?

No prob. I have no experience with it myself, but the way some people tout it, it seems almost like a kind of godsend. :lol

So basically it will run into the pin?

I would like to try this on some of my loose limbed G1 dinobots. Anyone ever try it on them?

Just saying, I love this. A bunch of my CHUG figs have loose pin joints. I'm going to have to try that Future Finish trick!

Woah. Talk about a blast from the past. Well, this zombie thread was at least of some use to me, as I've since acquired Future Finish. I have enough TFs to fix up to keep me busy this summer (well, for about a week, anyway).

Before you put any chemicals on it....
If you already have the pin out, take it to your local hardware store.
Look for what is called "Music Wire" and compare gauges. I was able to find the right size to fix a lot of my transformers and it costs like $3 for 2-3 ft of it.
The best thing is that it is round and it is metal with nothing to sand or snag on. But it only comes in certain measurements so I have not been able to find what I wanted once or twice. I don't have Animated SHockwave so I can't even guess at whether one will exist to help him.

    Funny you should mention this.

I am new to the world of Future Floor Polish, but I must say it's AMAZING!

I used it on my Dinobots to tighten them up, specifically on Snarl. The front arms were super loose; all I did was take a Qtip coated with Future and touch it to the sides of the pins, the next day they were perfect.
