Are the heads interchangeable? I like the new mold better and was thinking about swapping my MP-03 Starscream's head with my MP-11 Thundercracker when I get it.

    Nope afraid not.

First thing I tried when I got my MP11.

You could probably force it on or file down the ball joint but personally I didn't want to go that far.

I don't have MP3, but MP11 head is on a ball joint and can easily be popped off.

Love the pic, thanks for sharing. "look mah ... I can be a headmaster too".

I don't have my MP-03 on me at the moment but isn't the MP-03 head also on some kind of balljoint?

^ Ye, it is on a balljoint. I guess the only issue when switching heads is if the sockets for the balljoint and the balljoint itself don't match.

    Maybe this thread will help:

    http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/trans...11-mp11-masterpiece-starscream-v2-review.html

I have both, but honestly the main differences are the head, wings, how the null-rays are attached in MP-11 as opposed to detachable on MP-3, and the hip kibble. Aside from that, in that review thread, you'll see "heels" and other things such as color/paint apps that differentiate MP-11 from MP-3.

Update - Moved Masterpiece Thundercracker's head to my iGear Starscream . . . not bad. Very acceptable on the iGear mold. The iGear/MP-03 head on MP-11 is a little floppy but not horrible. Haven't tried nail polish or superglue yet.

Think I'm set on seekers. Skywarp is original MP-03, 'cracker is MP-11 of course, and Screamer is the PP-03 version. I think it works well because they are all similar yet slightly different, sort of enhances the differences in paint colors. Plus Skywarp is wielding ROTF Bludgeon's long sword to go with his kibble scabbards. :D
