I've been torn on that Inferno - I want him to be a Hosehead/Cab but tbh I kinda like this mold better than the older Inferno mold overall, and since I still have that Kids' Day Protectobot Hot Spot as my "Inferno" I'm not sure who should be who anymore. I already have the Botcon Pyro from forever ago, and there's a 3P version of that mold as Fire Convoy that should eventually be coming in the mail, so maybe he'll just wind up being Guard City still.  

Dude, those look fantastic! I love seeing Minerva in the Getaway mold, and that Hosehead is amazing. What Dai Atlus is that back there?

 

thanks   its one of my custom sets im happiest with, the dai atlus is fansproject dai-z. the inferno is asia kids day hotspot with a titanmaster adapter, potp inferno head connected with the tlk nitro titanmaster plug

 

I too harvested a Nitro for fodder parts.

 

nitro ended up being home to thunderwing for me so his head was useless  

 

I'm planning on picking up Nitro as I stuck a G1 Dreadwind face on a Titanmaster and want to use it as an updated Dreadwind.

 

Am I doing it right?

 

I used it on a fodder body in a diorama I'm building.

 

As for Blast Off I'm using the jet version while the shuttle version will be known as Take Off for CW. Since some people are calling their jet Blast Off, Take Off I'm just reversing it a bit. Yeah, it's not the greatest repurposing job...it's pretty much half assed, but to me it works because damnit the interworking of my mind are an enigma and holy crap that was line from SpongeBob Squarepants.

So, I reread "Last Stand of the Wreckers" and it's a masterpiece, a classic that should be taught in preschool. But one thing stands out. We still can't complete that damn cast, so I've resolved to solve that.
Rotorstorm: Botcon Battletrap, ever since POTP Battletrap was a thing the prices on this guy have dramatically dropped.

Snare: Studio Series Stinger, he's not a jet but he's red and has a similar face, think of it as a "what-if" version where he survived and was rebuilt in an Autobot chassis.

The random Decepticon scumbags in the prison: get some movie-verse Cons, random repaints, figures you have no use for and outfit them with some jagged weapons (junkion saws and the like) to create the bloodthirsty and crazed look.

 

The Thundercracker repaint of Nitro Zeus might work as Beast Wars Dirge.

I can't look at this Hound toy without thinking of IDW Longtooth.

 

I'd like to see Loudpedal repurposed as Needlenose.

Loudpedal is a repaint of Needlenose's brother Tracks.

Loudpedal and Needlenose have similar design cues in their heads and wings, both of which are close in colour.



We've seen other characters get multiple toys, not always close in colour scheme but sporting similar and recognisable heads to earlier toys which I think LP and Needlenose can pull off.

They both have the grey helmet with knight styled visor/grill. Both have green faces and Loudpedal sports traditional Decepticon red optics which I think would suit Needlenose.

Anyway just thought I'd throw this out there.

 

I've basically repurposed Generations Orion Pax as Prime Orion Pax since he only appeared in flash backs for a brief time in Prime and the toy line being long over with we're not likely to get a real toy any time soon.

Also repurposed a RID2 Optimus axe weapon for my WfC Optimus.

 

Good idea, I used that recent rerelease of WFC Optimus as Transtech Optimus.

 

I repurposed Mindwipe's body for Fangry. Looks great with the purple body and little wings on the back. Give me a moment and I'll find a picture.

Come to think of it, Crashbash on Mindwipe would probably make for a decent Senator Ratbat.

 

It really helps that we got so many purple and pink Decepticon heads. It makes them more swappable as opposed to the Autobot Titan masters who are far more diverse in their colours.

 

Blitzwing as tarn using the apeface titanmaster and a perceptor rifle with a pc-16 Jinrai rifle plugged into it

 

I find that the ROFT Soundwave mold (when transformed with it's legs folded together) makes for a Hell of a sexy BM Jetstorm. For the best results, use the 3Pack or the HFTD versions.
