I'm a fan of the Landshark deco myself.

 

So I was thinking about how much I like Studio Series Thundercracker with the Overboard TM and it dawned on me. He can be a stand in for Blue Bacchus. He can be head-canoned as an upgraded form or something.

If Black Shadow can be a duocon then Blue Bacchus can also ditch the pretender tech and become a Headmaster.

I'm probably gonna do it as well. Black Shadow needs his partner in crime. Plus the options to repurpose for Blue Bacchus are quite expensive.

 

What are these other options...

 

The first one that comes to mind is Botcon Battletrap. Colours match,has a sword, he's got the two different modes and he's become quite common with the new far-better Battletrap hitting the market. Next one would be CW Leader Thundercracker, he scales with TR Skyshadow, is probably still shelfwarming but you can't get away from the seeker silhouette. Those would be the best shots for options regarding a repurposed Blue Bacchus that would look good with Sky Shadow.

 

Okay...yeah...I've heard of/thought of...the Battletrap idea...I have that figure free to be repurposed now too...thanks to POTP Battletrap... ..."Seeker Silhouettitus"...IS a hard condition to get healed from... ...

Botcon Parasite as Bugly (the smaller Waspinator as his inner form)

 

I was looking at Landquake in a shop the other day and it does look nice. I even think his colour scheme is close enough to that of G1 Landmine's inner robot.

I'm hoping to pick up Landshark someday to repurpose him as Bulkhead.

I also think Cybertron Sideways could work as pre Earth G2 Cyberjet Skyjack(fall) who has similar design cues and his role as a spy would tie in with Sideways' dual allegiance.

I think Robotmasters Double Face would work as pre Earth Tarantulus.

Titanium War Within Thrust as pre Beast Terrorsaur.
