Good idea to try to get that freeway jazz looking better but I'm not seeing what the license plate is supposed to say. I only see half and it says "GUN" Too bad they didn't add more of the red/dark red color that is normally seen on Bluestreak. I do like the black hood and the t-top sort of window stikers they added to the roof

 

I'm a little confused on the Sideways stickers. How much of that is custom paint and which are stickers?

The license plate probably says Gunner on the sticker set for the Freeway Jazz-->Bluestreak. The site is working for me now.

 

The ROTF Sideways upgrade is sweet. Seems like they used it on a figure that exists out of half the light variant, and half the dark variant though   misleading.

I'm somewhat tempted to buy another Sideways and buy that sticker set.  

 

Looks like shiny silver stickers applied to the graphite-colored Sideways to me. Gonna wait to see how they look on the lighter version before I even consider snagging that set though.

 

If you look at the detail image, it says it's a vinyl sticker. You can also see the edge of the sticker if you look closely on the car. No part swapping.

It's a great add on for another wise lackluster movie-colored character. I'm thinking about grabbing it, but I'll wait to see what it looks like on the lighter Sideways.

Edit: The site looks better. It's starting to look like a big-boy web site.  

 

Damn, that Sideways sheet looks hella good. I'm extremely tempted.

 

Ya know, just the other day I thought to myself "Self, looking at Freeway Jazz...he would make a pretty cool Bluestreak". Low and behold, voila, Reprolabels rips the idea right out of my brain and turns it into a reality! Sadly I still have trouble dealing with the cartoonish proportions of his car mode, and the lack of guns for the Autobot Gunner...but it's still a cool idea!

Also, I am very curious as to just how effective that Sideways set will actually be on one of the early wave all silver Sideways. He was one of my favorite RotF bots (I kicked ass with him in the game) so I was always kinda saddened by his lackluster toy. However this might bring even a small amount of life back into him. I'm gonna need to see a review of it in action before I commit.

Dang... I wasn't exactly planning on buying Freeway Jazz, but dang... Reprolablel's stickers for converting him to Bluestreak just convinced me to do so.

 

My thoughts on reproductions decals

This is another copyright infringement and Hasbro and TakataTomy should do something I bought something off Ebay the toy was real but the decals where fakes

 

Just snagged a Sideways set. Mine's gonna look great after I covered up all that nasty red.

 

The racer upgrade set is a bit of a shame.. All look great except the Trueno.. Should be a Panda version like the apexi model..

Definitely like the Alternity Jazz set. That is tempting me to finally pick up a figure from that line.

You think Reprolabels should be taken down by Hasbro? Really?

Instead, if you're very concerned about the authenticity of vintage toys, you should make certain you're purchasing from a reliable seller (and perhaps avoid eBay completely). Hasbro really doesn't need to protect you from yourself, particularly at the expense of a great site like Reprolabels.

Anyhow, none of the labels in this thread are reproductions of vintage labels.
