Here are some pics of these two 'cons. They're a great addition to the decepticon ranks, especially tantrum, who was pretty boring as Rollbar. I'll have bot pics soon I decided not to use the spoiler stickers for divebomb, since I had already removed the orange from it. Also, the stickers for the spoiler had a silver outline, which wouldn't have fit on the the orange spoiler anyway.
i should be getting my set of stickers in today, then richochet and rollbar will reveal their true decepticon identities....i cant wait....if i get around to it, maybe ill take some pictures of mine for you guys....
Cool! I'd like to see how yours turn out. I've been to lazy lately to take bot pics, but I might tonight
These are great. I've already got the Tantrum set, and I'm definitely going to be getting the Divebomb set soon. Tantrum also looks kinda neat if you stick some horns on his hood (shameless plug for myself here... sorry): http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/showthread.php?t=110769&highlight=reprolabels+tantrum
kind of likin the divebomb......could always use more alt decepticons.....genius hasbor is im guessing that is the roadbot lambo back there? how do they compare to the alternators size and quality wise? are the 1/18s pretty close?
Tantrum and Divebomb really help to bolster the 'Con ranks. Soon, with Rumble, I'll have 10! As for the Roadbots, they dwarf the Alts in alt and bot modes. The lambo is one sweet car though, so i don't mind. In Bot mode the Lambo would fit pretty well as a decepticon brawler, with his claws and stuff. I might put faction symbols on him. I also have the 1:12 Ford GT, and that one is just HUGE. In Bot mode he's like the Devastator of Alts
Just got these sets myself recently and was really impressed with them. The Divebomb set, in particular, completely changes the look of the toy and really sets it apart from Ricochet. The Tantrum set I like, and it gives me another Decepticon, but most of the stickers are focussed on the car hood and doors, while the robot shins could have really used some detailing. A few pictures of the figures with extra weapons...
Ya that Divebomb set might just be enough in getting me to finally pick up Ricochet. Looks great, just need to figure out how to cover up that mysterious white powder on his nose
Actually, I think it's the white "powder" that really makes this figure work as Divebomb! It gives him a "bird beak" look... without it he just has a regular old Silverstreak face. But if you DID want to change it, you could just pop his face plate out and paint over it with a RoseArt gold marker. That's what I did to my Ricochet's face. The gold shade doesn't exactly match the one used in the rest of his paintjob, but it still looks all right. One of the reasons I was excited about Reprolabels making this set is that it gives me an excuse to get a second Ricochet figure and leave the nose white. I didn't like that look so much for Ricochet, but for Divebomb it looks great!
