Thanks to bubbleformers.com making the Bubbles for Roadbuster so quickly, I finally got to finish my roadbuster boxes. Here they are finished. Next up is the Autobot Targetmasters, the seekers, Mugen Calibur, astrotrain (3 variants) and some animated stuff.

That's really awesome. Too bad though, the TF version of this mold lost the articulation of the Japanese version.

Dude - the Transformers version is a direct recolor of the original Mugen Calibur figure from Japan in the early 80's. The version you link is an updated version that was released this year - not over twenty years ago.

Asinine comments aside, the boxes turned out great. It'd be nice to get the modern version Knoted linked and repaint it as Roadbuster; then toss it into the Dreamwave-style box. The modernization of the boxart and figure would then compliment one-another. Too bad that sucker is $213USD before shipping.

Well, regardless of whether this Mugen is new or not ; it still doesn't justify his decision to say my initial post doesn't make sense.

It's like calling someone stupid, then not giving a reason why.

Your post did make no sense, and they did give a reason why.

Articulated Mugen Caliber, is new, not old, your statment makes no sense because you spoke out of turn without knowledge of the subject at hand.

Don't get offended, or make excuses, you learned something in the process here, and knowledge is always a good thing.

We don't think your stupid, you just were not aware of the facts regarding the topic at hand. No sweat man:)  This is how we all learn from time to time ;)

Perhaps the post was too cryptic ; i.e. not providing the full & correct info at hand.

But it still does not matter whether the articulated version of the Mugen is newer or older than G1 Roadbuster. Basically, I should have said : "Too bad though, the G1 TF version of this mold has less articulation than the similar Japanese version, which is either older or newer ; that, I am not sure about."

It just comes down to the fact I was too cryptic. The thought behind the message, - hopefully - makes sense to you guys.

Everyone needs to chill and focus on critiquing the artwork shared.

what did you have in mind? Got something rare you want a perfect box for? I plan on making everything eventually but if people are willing to lend stuff I can hop to that first. I am making g1 boxes for all the ehobby/diaclone variants too since I have doubles of most of them (can't find another black tracks), so I'll do customs too.

I apologize, Blue Meanie. I had no intention of derailing your thread with negativity AND I totally forgot to leave my initial comments. My bad, sir.

Dude, I dig the boxes. Very nice work indeed. Keep at it. :thumb

Personally, I appreciate your comment/apology. This is a rare sight indeed, and I find more and more that Radicons is a place where people act well enough to do this sort of thing. We all make mistakes, but it's important to learn from them :)

Thanks for the compliments guys. I am working on some ehobby stuff I hope you all like. Don't worry about derailing the thread, no big deal. I stay outta anything confrontational on the forums now anyhow. I have learned that tone and personal character cannot be conveyed on the net, so its easy to misread the intentions of posts. So I keep my mouth shut, post comment here or there that is benign, post my projects and thats about it now. I try to do community stuff like collect bubbles for Bubbleformers and clean up artwork for Botch's Archive (shameless plug) in my freetime.
