This was Bill Spencer's baby. He based it on the Hydrogen RE concept car. It was my idea to make it a Decepticon, and I helped with the die cutting. We decided to produce it because this Alternator was recently reissued, and the design is just really awesome.
Delta, this set is really neato. I may just get this set (and a few others from you) in the very near future Great job!
Hmm...doesn't make much sense to me that an environmentally "friendly" car would be a Decepticon. Neat idea though.
Sometimes it isn't a matter of making sense, but looking good. Looking damn good. THAT decal set definitely looks good and I'll eventually buy it for an extra Jazz/Meister I have.
That's how he suckers people in, then he uses them as the main ingreadient in megatron's new fuel source, Soilent Green!!
In the original series of the Transformers cartoon the Decepticons seemed to find an alternative source of energy in every episode. Everything from ruby crystals to rocket fuel and the chaos created by conflicting gravitational pulls. They used antimatter, Alaskan oil, electricity, solar power, food, etc... Infact, there doesn't seem to be a kind of power known by man in the 80's that wasn't tasted by the Decepticons
