Very Nice anovassin, it was about time someone did this, Are You casting the bodies in metal?, and did You cast the feet magnet as a plastic part extension or You casted without that part? Do You have pictures of an actual set ready to sell?

Hmmmmm... I'm definitely interested :) . I'd luv to own a diaclone driver or 2 (for novelty value). More pics from different angles & interacting with G1s would definitely be more likely to persuade me... :)

No metal or magnets. I casted the legs with original magnet attached. I hope to release the kit with magnets that you would drill out the bottom of the feet in order to install. I am not sure yet though it depends on what kind of deal i can get on some tiny magnets. check out the link above it has more info than in this post

Thank you for your intrest i will be adding more pictures soon.

    Thank you

Interesting, how difficult would casting the chest in metal be?

They look good. I'm probably going to pick up a set of these when I get paid.

You can never have too many Diaclone drivers!

well i would love to however it is rather difficult for me at this time. I have been researching it. IF they were bigger and worth more each it would be more practical. The problem is its difficult to make a reusable mold. The most common methods for backyard metal casting is called sand casting and lost wax casting. It is difficult to get several bodies at the same time with either method. Also the size makes it difficult. The lost wax method is used by jewelers to make rings and such. For them a higher production rate is not so important.

    cool :thumb
