    it's YOU'RE.
'RE = ARE. It's an abbreviation of ARE.
Your, My, Their, Our are all possessive
Whenever you use "Your" the way a lot of you do, you're writing fragmented sentences that imply possession, but never get around to what is possessed.
    "Your retarded" Jon said.
    "My retarded what?" Billy replied.

    Same goes with "THEIR".
"I don't agree with those guys" Billy said.
    "Yeah, their retarded" Jon replied.
    "Their retarded what?" Billy asked.
The proper word is THEY'RE. Where again 'RE = ARE. They Are = They're

To me they don't sound alike. When I verbalize the word "they're" it doesn't sound like "their"; I make sure that it sounds like "they + er". And when I say "you're", it doesn't sound like "your"; I make sure it sounds like "yoor" - like "poor", but with a "y" instead of a "p".

The problem isn't simple spelling; it's that you hear it mispronounced as well.

On ESPN, it said the Wizards will corporate with the League and the D.C. Police with the investigation.

I always did prefer the name Bullets over Wizards.

I was hoping to find real wizards with guns, not basketball players. Misleading title is misleading. :(

Hmm, more professional athletes with guns, but this time it's basketball instead of football.
I'm just glad no one was hurt.

To be fair, they used to be the Bullets.
