As much as I hate to say it, I would probably buy KOs of Gentei Wildrider and Botcon Huffer...

I kinda figured blue mirage was going to be a KO after I seen him on taobao for $15

Anyone know what differences there are between the original and the KOs of the Henkei figures?

 

Anyone else find it kinda cool that on the Botcon translucent blue Mirage, its the rub symbol that's used to tell the KO apart from the original? Who would have thought the rub symbol would serve its original purpose 25 years after it was introduced?

 

As much as a lot of you think this is cool, on the flip side there will be dirtbags trying to sell these for the real thing.

 

heres KO Henkei Ghost strascream. theres no really difference from the original and it also has the Hasbro & takara markings. I will get some KO Henkei Thundercracker and Ko blue mirage, Ko henkei clear mirage, Ko henkei Skywarp probably by the end of next week

If the QC is good on this KO TC, I will be getting one....even if just to serve as a placeholder for an official Hasbro TC

That is pretty cool. Although it looks to me that on the real thing, the plates on his waist are translucent and they aren't on the KO

Not really a K.O fan, but great for those who can't wait for Hasbro's Thundercracker.

the transparent plastic used on the botcon mirage KO looks to be a different shade of blue, too. easy to see in side-by-side pictures, but all on it's own, it's going to be tricky to tell.

reprolabels sells rubsigns, so it's not safe to buy un-bagged botcon mirages anymore.

then they will KO the bag.

and then it will get really stupid.

 

I think the blue Mirage is enough to get me to bite on my first KO. Really want an original eventually, but it is not in my budget (or a priority) right now. Hope the plastic is decent enough for me to transform him once and pose him on the shelf.

 

If these are anything like the KO clear seekers I've seen, do not bother. They will break the first time you try to transform. Just not worth it. KOs are great when they're built well but when they're built like Dollar Store KOs, you can just send me your cash instead and probably receive as much or more satisfaction
