I've been thinking about the shortcomings to the new Hasbro MP Hot Rod. Most can be fixed with a dab of glue or a lick of paint. The shins are the interesting part; what about getting repros cast in black plastic?

Who'd be interested in this sorta thing?

Well that's okay, cos this is really for those of us who only have the Hasbro version. I'll make that clearer.

@ALEXD- I don't think there's much we can do about that mate, sorry. I recommend getting a small piece of styrene of the same thickness, cutting it to shape and using plastic weld to attach it in the original's place.

Looking for interest in about twenty people, don't be shy!

    Is this still a goer?

    I'd be interested (cost dependent).

Or would it be possible to create something that attaches over the existing guards, so it could be part of transforming him into Rodimus?

Nope, I like the red ones on the Hasbro one and the gray ones on the Takara one.

It could be, but we do need a reasonably large amount of interest to get it going considering the price of molds.
