Anyone know of a substance I can buy that would help preserve the rubber hose that is part of G1 Shockwave's arm? Mine doesnt have the hose cracked yet. Its still in one piece but has that fish scales look of almost coming apart. I was wondering if there isnt something I can buy at like a hardware store to create a thick rubber layer to both fill those tiny cracks and bolster the entire thing.

I've never used it on Shockwaves hose, but I have used it on car parts when I was restoring my car. It gives things a flexible rubber coating and seems to be pretty durable. For SW's hose, I'd suggest that you use the spray on type. You can get this stuff at Lowes Home Improvement for around 6 bucks. It comes in several colors including black.

Liquid Electrical Tape. You can find it in the automotive electrical bits area in Wal-Mart. It's literally liquid wire insulation.
