So I decided to take DOTM Topspin and give him a nice metallic gray paint job to imitate metal, thought it came out really cool. Mixture of Testors paint "Steel" and Glossy black. I've done small customs but this my very first big project using Testors, very happy with the results.

Used paintbrush to paint in Steel Gray and used a toothbrush and applied very minimal glossy black & Steel Gray to give it the metal scrapes in robot and vehicle mode. A toothbrush works wonders!...hahaha.

I don't think the MechTech cannon is big enough. Nice dry-brushing, there.

Thanks TCracker, from an awesome customizer as yourself, that's huge bro! haha. :thumbs2:

Thanks man. Oh trust me that tootbrush went right in my mouth afterwards. :p

Thanks man. The toothbrush was mainly used for the metal scrape looks in vehicle mode and some in robot mode. It gave it more realism.

    Thanks man..

Absolutely.. with Topspin I had 2 of them, which is why I customized one. With Leadfoot I'll definitely pickup 2 of them one to customize and one to leave as factory.

    Thanks man!

I'm still trying to get my hands on HA Roadbuster, haven't been able to spot it at all. I hope Hasbro releases a HA Topspin to complete the trio.
