I got to thinking, and I realized that unless I were to devote a cabinet/wall to my TF collection, it would doom my treasures to imprisonment in a box. So, to combat this, I decided to rid myself of the non "important" TFs and keep the ones I like and wish to have, mini sized.

I am aware of the WST line and even though I am 5 years late, I love it.

I have recently started to like Metroplex and was scouring through the forums for a good deal one one (and ebay too), but all I was going to do was display him (so I didn't want to pay through the roof)... I, with a tiny budget, have decided to tinify my collection. lol. Including Metroplex! With inspiration from LoneWolf76, and an awesome deal from Might Gaine, I have made this dream possible for me and two of my friends (at school, who are also "poor" transfans).

Besides that fact that I am not the best painter in the world, my printer isn't too hot either, so I'll take a chance with my custom sticker sheet and hope that you can still see the details.

Now enough of the talk and on to the pictures!
oh wait. I forgot. this is a WIP and i literally got the kits in the mail a few minutes. lol (ty Gaine!). So I'll be updating this this afternoon/night as I work on him. hehe.

(time inbtwen is "undocumented" painting, and my "life")

    Nice...
Brilliant stuff, ain't it? Looks like now you're going to be able to get almost total G1 accuracy! :D
Now you just need to petition Delta to knock up some Kabaya-scaled Metro Reprolabels... ;)

and the stickers are done concluding my edition of: the repaint of Kabaya Metroplex aka WST Metroplex. enjoy the pics!

and btw. I was forced to glue the legs in place since the little pins were "misplaced" so he can't transform... =(

but its not like I would display it in attack mode anyways...

I thought these things were supposed to be a nightmare for paint adhesion? he's beautiful man. He's on my list of things to get to fill gaps in the WST line. My FM would like the company.

i went through three coats of acrylic primer on the leg, 6 coats of straight up paint on the shoulder, then I finally found out that enamel could go directly on, losing no pigment, then afterwards put an acrylic clear coat (since I'm too lazy to wait for the enamel to cure)... due to my lack of experience idk if not waiting was a bad thing, but it dried rock hard so it doesn't seem to be a bad thing

but i still have a long way to go until my repaints start looking smooth
