I've had a test copy in in a couple photos here and there in the last couple months, but now it's time to show the sword off. The Annexus sword will be produced by our friends at Renderform, and is based on their existing RW-011 Banshee Sword accessory, which in turn is modeled on the sword used by Starscream in the War for Cybertron trailers.

Annexus - Sword of Conquest RENDERFORM EXCLUSIVE

Annexus is cast in clear purple, and will have a darker, metallic hilt, which really sets off the purple blade. The pictures below depict a blade in the final color, however the hilt is painted to provide a reference color, so please excuse any flaws in the finish of the hilt. The final color of the production weapon will of course be fully molded.

If you don't have any versions of the banshee blade, I highly recommend getting one, and this one looks fantastic. I have the white blade (using it with Ultra Magnus), and a translucent red one that was made for Cybcon, and they are both great.

They are moving along pretty briskly. If this keeps up they'll all be sold within a few days at most. And just to make sure - we're not kidding. Fifty pieces. Period. There will never be any more of it.

How does this scale for a MP-01B to serve as a Nemesis Prime Sword?

I would be more interested in that big purple gun for Botcon Overlord he showed a while back. I got enough purple swords.

It's probably too small to work well for that unfortunately. The sword scales well and looks very good with pretty much anything Voyager class or smaller in size, and may even work with some Ultras. Once you get to Leader class or above it is going to look more like a short, close-combat sword (along the lines of a gladius) than a serious skidplate-kicking large blade.

While pretty, I'm hesitant to pay Voyager prices for a sword.

Understandable, but we're keeping it as low as we can - it's just barely more than the normal Banshee sword was priced at. Remember that Renderform custom-casts their products - there's no mass production - and that they use high-quality resins, not the cheaper stuff that you can buy in most hobby shops.
