From what I know, there is no "problem" with it, just that the people who had "broken" ones were just being to rough with BB when transforming him. As for the Metallic BB, it looks kinda cool, but, not something I would get.

Meh. Difficult to find foreign exclusive of a so-so figure... but I must say that he looks surprisingly good in gold, especially considering it's not that super-reflective high-gloss bling that Japanese gold edition robots usually come in.

Remy also has a LONGARM gallery... and he looks more freakin' awesome every time I see him! Can't wait to get that one.

Well, I meant if there is a weaker spring or if it's easier to initiate the automorph

If they ever made an 08 BB like that I would so be all over that. The 78......not so much.

Ok. It's probably the same as the other Japanese clear windowed ones. Which I'm not sure if there is any difference between those and the one's that were sold by Hasbro (other than the clear windows).

I'm not one to blame issues on the manufacturer typically, but when I bought my 74 BB I followed the instructions exactly as they were written and I still had that problem of it not staying in car mode properly. Mine was definitely defective...

My thoughts exactly. Seeing how much the figure goes for on ebay, maybe I should have got one, though :p

Oh well toys are for fun, not an investment :)
