I got PCC Heavytread in the mail today, and I have to say, he's a neat little figure. But I decided to get rid of those ugly blue combiner ports, since I don't have any limbs to combine him with anyway.

I just knocked out the pins so that I can reattach the ports if I ever need to, but otherwise he is unchanged. I think he looks much better without them.

Has anyone done this with other PCC scouts?

    ^ Very carefully. Lol.

But seriously, I don't know of a way to remove the blue blocks by themselves. I removed the little pieces they were connected to by knocking out pins.

I tap them out with a screwdriver using a larger screwdriver to hit it. Once the pin is sticking out a bit, you can yank it out with a pair of clippers. Repeat as needed. You might want to practice with a junk figure so you can get a feel for it. It's a bit tricky.

They're connected with pins, so the soldering iron-pin removal will work.

On my Huffer, I just painted them flat black and called it quits, as they provide additional stability to the feet (and I've found this is often the case on these lil' bots).

lol yeah but you gotta be careful as it runs the risk of accidently snipping the peg the pin goes into off, i nicked one in half by accident, it'll still be able to have the energon ports pinned in but that one i'll have to reinforce with "super glue, the radicon's secret weapon"
