Recently these boards have been getting content removed or moved frequently with no explanation. This morning I was in a thread and came back after several hours to find that it no longer existed. After looking at the google cache of the thread there did not seem to be anything worthy of a lock much less a deletion so I spent a while looking for it being relocated. It was totally gone.

It would be much better if there was a way that threads titles remained in the list and just indicated that it is deleted so I could just move on. This seems to be the case most of the time when a thread is moved.

If content is altered it is for a reason, due to forum rules or is not posted in the correct section. This is not something new.

I am not questioning the decision ( that would be against the rules ), I am saying isn't there a way to keep the title in the thread list with perhaps a locked icon so we don't go crazy looking for it. Or at the very least have a text explanation come up in the error message we get trying to access it.
