start by using a rubber band between the driver and screw head. use the biggest screwdriver that will fit. sometimes a flathead will grab a philips head screw.

I know of another trick but....It is a bit what you might call dangerous:

Superglue.Just a tiny tiny drop of super glue on the screw, attach the screw driver and let dry in place. Then with the right application of force you will unscrew it. Clean the screwdriver with spirits/alcohol later. Just be EXTREMELY carefull with how much glue you will apply in there.

I was going to try using epoxy putty..., but this may work. It’s worth a try. I want to swap it with the shadow fisher head anyways

I Dont know what brands you have in there buddy. I suppose everything that solidifies as soon as possible and is not gel like would work.

Thats the final Idea I had. Might be worth a shot as well.

there are stripped screw remover screw driver bits. they are supposed to dig into the screw. I had a stripped screw on a G1 Shockwave once. tried different thinds. in the end, i had to drill into the head on the screw.

unfortunately no, but here is the page I got the idea from <The 12 Best Ways to Remove Stripped Screws>. I probably don't have to tell you that drilling a metal screw set in plastic is a recipe for potential disaster. Last resort. By the way, I never tried the "easy-out" screw extractor. I did try the reverse thread bits (they didn't work worth a hill of beans).

oh hey, you only need the neck screw to get the head off. don't strip it!
