I went nuts with adding floor polish to my ball joints.

One or two of my figures and ball joints that are SUUUUUUPPPPPEEEERRRR tight.

umm...does anyone know how to remove it?
[Preferable with out taking the ball out of the socket.]

lol. Um, since it is floor polish on the surface, you could just remove it by scratching it off again. Probably wait for someone who has actually done it to tell you though.

Keep moving the joint until it loosens.

Isopropyl removes most things without damaging plastic, failing that be careful with nail polish remover (but both of these will require separating the joint, the top option won't)

It'll wear down. Just move the joint around a bit until it's at a point where it's tight enough and lose enough that you're happy with it.

Just move it around some. It does wear down a little.

Yup. I tightened a joint too much on my Henkei Sunstreaker so I just moved it around a lot and it loosened to the point where it was still tight but not too tight.
