Just to be clear - is this an add on/replacement kit or will alien attack be producing a standalone figure with these improvements?

There usually full figures, if im not mistaken.

Hey, would you guys be ankle to find a way to push the wheels closer to the legs, and also a way to fold the rear silver taillights up into the waist?? Because that felt lazy on the official.

To the best of my knowledge AA has never put out a full figure. Upgrades and accessories seemed to be their forte up till this point.

I've finally managed to make an exploded diagram of the separate components. The scale of parts may need minor tweaking, but I think the overall concepts are here. I will be doing additional diagrams of the parts from multiple angles when I can. I've started figuring out how to break each section down for moulding, e.g. the "hinge" section will be sandwiched between two separate plates, a blue outer one and a grey inner one.

Hopefully post some of my shoulder diagrams soon :)

Looking good. Any idea how wide the fenders will be?

Not sure about exact measurements, but I'd imagine a similar width to the tool box :)

    Gotcha.

I know y'all are already doing a ton with the retooling, but are you considering smaller touches such as poseable "clavicles" (don't know the truck term) and (not as small touches like) collapsing/splitting wheels? Given Alien Attack's history with neat weapons, I'd love to see hands that could be swapped out with new swords, and possibly a new, more TFTM-accurate gun. (Though I don't expect y'all to mess with that.) I hope my comments don't sound b####y at all, I'm just genuinely curious/excited. :p  I'm certainly not pushing for anything.

Looks fantastic, I'm really looking forward to seeing the shoulder design and your solution for the chest! Not to be a bummer though, but I'll have to hold my excitement until I see some prototypes.

However, I'm going to keep shouting for a second set of back wheels until you guys find a way to make it work :p

Ohohoho. Now this is interesting. Can't wait to see what you guys come up with.

As for possible ideas: what about making the legs longer? The movie design is really leggy as is, but it'd also solve the problem with how oversized the torso looks. Another, simpler thing to do though: find a way to move the license plate/rear bit of the truck. I love that they got the trailer hitch in the right spot but that detracts from it.

Completely agree with the license plate panel. That was super lazy on the official.

Wow fans taking shit into their own hands!love it!
Could you add an extra hinge on the back wheel?More specifically the top one that sits on his thighs so it can fold a bit to the back of the thigh? This is awesome

    found this thread, woohoo!

One request, anyway to make the 5th wheel / trailer hitch to be the correct height/type to be compatible with ROTF leader ones like the UFO trailer?

I've splitted in 6 sections for screen accuracy, but then rewatching the movies I can say they split in 5

Wow, took me awhile to get to this thread and I'm thoroghly impressed by what you guys are doing! (^.^) You guys have my full support and will definitly pick up the final figure if and when it's out.

Out of curiosity, how will you guys enable the collapsing wheels and the thin wheel wells at the same time? The wheel wells on the MPM are extremely thin and can only accomodate one set of wheels. Not too sure if there is a way to have one's cake and eat it...
