Oh those classic classic games. The SCUMM based ones, the Starwars universe, oh so many memories of joy.

Thankfully we have ScummVM emulators and games published by Lucas Arts like KotOR1/2, Lego Starwars, Mercenaries/Destroy all Humans and Battlefront1/2.

Plus rumor is Freeradical of Timeslinter's fame is working on something for Lucas Arts...

oh look a three headed monkey!

My big Lucasarts game was Tie Fighter. Always loved the fact you could play actual Star Wars starfighter missions for the Empire, and that every campaign had its only little storyline or subplot going on. That and you could fly a variety of fighters as the game went on. You almost felt like you were a pilot in the Imperial navy. Oh the days, good times, good times.

Last summer I actually salvaged an old intact P3 system from work and put Windows 98 on it to play it a bunch over the summer, man did that ever bring back memories.

Also liked the Dark Forces games too.

    DID YOU KNOW?

The SCUMMVM emulator for PSP runs the Lucasarts point-and-click adventure games perfectly. From Secret of Monkey Island to Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, they run flawlessly. And I got them all, neener neener neener!

And just because SotE may have "sucked" doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the hell out of it (being the genesis of Rogue Squadron helped)! :p

In memory of LucasArts, we should all pause for a moment to put hamsters in microwaves.

Now that I think about it I've never played any of Lucasarts point and clicks...

    Shock!

But I did play the hell out of X-wing and Tie Fighter, and all of their add ons. But X-wing got very very difficult later on.

Isn't there some sort of PC emulator that can be used for the DS? And it works with a load of 486 games, especially point and clicks? Because if anyone knows about it, I want it.
