Give me Sunstorm or I'll rage! Also give me any generic seekers and I'll buy them, but Sunstorm at least.
They have at least two different versions of this mold. I don't think we have to worry about it wearing out yet, as Hasbro seems to maintain it. The only figures with any problems were Universe Starscream and Gentei Skywarp & Thundercracker (TC especially). Since then they've fixed that version of the mold and also used the older version of the mold (before some changes were made). Randy
Honestly, going to be controversial here, I say retire the mold. The default Starscream configuration has had at least 10 different uses (Classics SS, Skywarp, Botcon Thundercracker, Henkei SS, Skywarp and Thundercracker, Universe SS, Acid Storm, Exclusive Ghost Starscream, Generations Thundercracker, Botcon Action Master Thundercracker would have been 11) That's not even getting into the multiple uses of the coneheaded variant of the mold. Honestly, it's had a good run, we've got all six of the Decepticon Air Force out of it twice over and a bunch of other toys too.
More seekers? I'm good withe the original six. But if they make more I might buy them... I have a feeling Sunstorm will be a Target exclusive.
Classics Skywarp needs a more traditional repaint just like Classics Starscream got in the Universe line......then retire the mold for good.
Sunstorm and a Generic Purple Seeker is all I want. If they only dip into the mold once, I want Sunstorm. Speaking of Seekers that might never get made... I have an extra Acid Storm and Generations Dirge. Who should they be repainted into?
Yeah, but I have a sneaking suspicion that an official one of one of those two is coming down the pipeline. Just can't shake the feeling.
I definitely want Sunstorm. And as many other repaints they want to make is fine by me. Slipstream would be fine, but they're basically already doing those colors with the Club release of G2 Ramjet.
I definetly want Sunstorm. And since they have released Acid Storm, I would love to get the other two "Rainmakers" released. Maybe with similar camo decoes to distinguish from TC and Sunstorm. If Has/Tak/Tom felt like doing the "Air Warriors" I would cetainly buy. Only other one that id likely buy is the seeker that had the flamethrower. Slipstream maybe if there was a re-t8ol or new mold.
I would like to see Sunstorm, the purple seeker and the turquoise seeker. The last 2 as army builders. I'm getting a friend to repaint the horribly bland original Classics Starscream and a KO repainted as the purple ones. At least Dreamwave acknowledged the Seeker drones. I would be happy with a G2 Ramjet colour scheme and call it Slipstream. But then I'd like the Japanese black and gold scheme and the G2 Starscream colour scheme applied to the mold as 2 new characters. I'd have no problem with the black one being called Darkscream which is already legitimate TF name. On the topic of Seekers. I'd like to see all of the above applied to the very underrated War Within mold with the following: Whisper (Look at his MTMTE pic) Windsweeper (Look at his MTMTE pic) Swoop Everytime I look at WW Thrust, I see pre-Beast Terrorsaur so why not Swoop? WW Grimlock was a Con, why not Swoop? Possibly add a new level to his feud with Divebomb. Of course, going with my Terrorsaur/Thrust idea, why not Hydra, Lazorbeak and Fractyl?
Sunstorm is all I need. I'm skipping the coneheads personally. Not a fan of them for some reason. Definitely want slipstream if it's a new mold though.
If they do other "rainmakers" I'd like to see them keep the camo patterns on the wings like Acid Storm has. Sunstorm could have a desert camo that allows the yellows and oranges to mix in and still look natural. I would like to see a seeker that is mainly gray and black, with artic or city camo (grays, white, and black) on the wings. +-MWG-+
