So there's a few out ther now, i mean games where they did a overhaul of graphics but kept the same story.

Metroid: Zero Mission - able to shot diagnally made it some much better and easier to play

Mega Man: Powered Up - They made them cute and stuff, kept the same stages and all...plus you get to play as the bosses in the same stages.

Mega Man: Maverick Hunter - same stages but stage bosses change...i just wonder if they kept the hadouken special. And it's in 3-D.

Knonker's i didn't really care about but it was supposedly good. Never played the 64 version.

there's Super Mario Bros 2 and Tetris, but that's a different story :D

and who knows if the New Super Mario Bros. will have a unlockable updated version of SMB (i wish)

so if they had to remake a old game, which would you choose???

i wanna see Punch-Out, when you go to the next stage and Bald Bull has a fat eye in the picture, the CPU will have a fat eye...maybe Knockout Kings graphics....i wanna see the 3-D version of Chrono Trigger (hell yeah)...and since they already did one, every Mega Man in Powered Up style and Mega Man X in Maverick Hunter Style (why not)

I wouldn't mind seeing a 3D remake of Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest , from the NES. Maybe a remake/sequel to Actraiser from the SNES as well.

Didn't they do that on the PS1? Castlevania Chronicles or something like that?

Anyway, most of the games I'd want to see have already been done in some way (SMB, Metroid Zero Mission, Mega Man). A remake of Ninja Gaiden would be pretty awesome though.

I would have wanted Final Fantasy III to get a PSX remake, but we all know that isn't happening at this point. Which, as somewhat of a completionist, kinda bugs me, since it's the only game of the entire numbered series missing from the Playstation lineup.

Final Fantasy 7, so that way it can get an ending and a story tweaks.

Resident Evil 2, with the graphics upgrade given to RE1

Super Mario RPG, done by the Kingdom Hearts guys

Chrono Trigger, I just want this so bad

Metroid 2, done like Metroid Zero Mission for GBA

It has a proper ending. And the only story tweaks that need to be made are to make the characters not so shallow, and Vincents past needs to be clarified just a bit more (since it ties into Sephiroth's backstory as well).

Oh yeah, proper ending. Hey look Areis! Oh wait, fading to black? Oh look Red 13 with.. . another one of his extinct race? Yep. That ended as proper as proper as Matrix part 2. And it needs lots of story tweaks; like making the whole story of Vincent more of a plot point and not a silly sidequest. He's the father of the main villain, and it has ZERO impact on the story. I'm not here to debate how shitty FF7 was, I posted games I want re-done.

You sir, speak to my soul.

I want a new TIE fighter, for PC (or console if they make a huge Steel Batalion type controller for it) with online play.

I personally don't need every aspect of the characters' "happily ever after" filled in to constitute a good ending. As it is, the game wrapped up the story it had set to tell fully, which is what mattered. If it had left the actual conclusion up in the air, I'd be complaining. But it didn't.

As for Vincent. Sephiroth's father :peoples: ? Erm, Sephy's father is Hojo.

And personally, I just want FFVII to be left alone, for SquareEnix to maintain whatever ounce of integrity left in them, instead of constantly whoring the most over-rated entry in the series.

I would buy this so fast my wallet would not think it was funny.

I will add N64 Blast Corps to the list. Either a new game or updated graphics and new missions for the original on a handheld.

Umm... also... Super Metroid for GBA. The SNES version is hard to find.

I want some of the computer classics of the '80s to be modernized for distribution over Xbox Live. Boulder Dash, Archon, Hard Hat Mack, Spy Vs. Spy, Ballblazer... there's an enormous hidden stash of titles that are well-suited to the console, and could easily be prettied up and smoothed out to give today's audience a great experience. Several arcade classics have already been given something of a renaissance through Live's delivery system, with its elegance and low overhead for publishers.
