So here is my story. I work with this girl who 29 and I am 21. She looks good, real, good, and doesn't look 29, more like 24. I look like I am 24, 25, and we get along great. I feel there is some tension between us too, that is why we get along great. Now here is the big problem she has a boyfriend...

So she told me she is quitting and plans to give her two week on Aug. 1. She tells me that her boyfriend might go to jail because of all the DWI's he has gotten and she might call it off. So I get kinda happy, that she might be free and is willing to break things off. Then things got bad on Saturday.

She hears a rumor that her and I are secretly dating, so she gets pissed, because people are saying this about us. She tells another employee that she has a boyfriend and is mad people are talking behind her back. So I tried to talk to her but she ignores me for most of the day and will not try to have eye contact with me. She says she is not mad at me or anything but I think she is now.

What do you guys, gals suggest, do I talk to her about how I really feel, and risk the friendship that we might have left. Trust me I have not done any flurting with her,(maybe a little), but she has flurt more with me.

 

Get her in the supply closet and whip it out. You got a 50/50 shot with that one.

 

She gets offended at the suggestion you two are dating. Doesn't sound like someone who's that into you. I'd suggest leaving it until/unless the boyfriend gets dumped, and then only if she stops reacting to you with revulsion.

Backup plan: stick it in her pooper.

She has a boyfriend. Back off for now. When or if she decides to break up with the guy, then make your move.

Don't worry about the not seeing her after she finds another job either. If you're friends you probably have her number, right? Just give her a call out of the blue one day to hang out and take it from there.

Thanks for the advice, will hold back for now, and wait and to see what happens. I just hate when girls have boyfriends and flirt with me and then say I'm the jerk, if I want to get closer. Shame on you ladies.

When she quits and I give her a call how would you guys approach her and see if she is still dating the guy with out asking the obvious?

sounds like your in the friendzone, plus she is acting repulsed that you and her are going out in the rumor mill which gives evidence your in the friendzone.

try asking her out when she is officially single, but honestly, your boned and have near zero chance of escaping the friend zone, just look elsewhere.

 

Honestly, just ask her. After she breaks up with her current boyfriend.

 

Dude, you're 21. The Cougars can wait. She's on her way to the 30's, with a boyfriend who may go to jail and she is repulsed by the idea of you and her dating. Go for a fellow 20 something.
