Has anyone heard anything about the reissue line? Is it done or will it continue? Or are we just seeing the gap while Takara gets its feet underneath themselves after the merger.

I'm fairly confident they'll keep going for a little while. They're just being really slow about it. Last time it took a claim of the death of the line before we heard about a new figure, so it might be a while longer.

I hope they are not done. I am still hoping to get an Artfire out of them!

I'm optimistic we'll see more, but right now I think its up in the air. If they do it will probably be a wile as I think Takara/Tomy is still in a state of flux but again I'm optimistic.

Although having said that I would also not be expecting them to do more either.

I hope they continue, but right now I don't mind the break. I've bought so much stuff lately, my credit card is sobbing.

Last thing I heard was that Takara-Tomy was aiming for 'quality vs. quantity', releasing a reissue every 4 months or so.

Checked with the import shops too and no news either...my suspicion is that Takara Tomy is adopting a "wait and see attitude" for now...let's not forget even the reissues couldn't bail Takara out of their financial mess but then again, it speak volumes for a company that reissues of 20- plus year old toy line is one of their hotter sellers...

The TFC line was one of the few steady highpoints for Takara in the last few years..... so there's no way reissues are going to stop.
