Stryker of ACToys.net has posted a prototype of Reissue Soundwave with two cassettes (Ravage and Laserbeak/Buzzsaw).

Oddly, the thing is in black so it MIGHT be that we're getting Soundblaster in the US under the guise of Soundwave (one can hope anyway)

I really, really hope it is Soundblaster. why? because a mib g1 soundwave was the first I bought when getting back into collecting, and I have reissue soundblaster, but would still buy a hasbro comm. soundwave if they released it, just because. if this is soundblaster, I'll pass on it, and not feel rediculous about buying something I already have.

Definately Soundblaster - you can tell from larger tape deck.

If it does get reissued, then excellence....got the Takara version of Sounblaster some time ago, but never got a chance to open it.

Or, it could be Soundwave colors but using the Soundblaster mold.

Which is weakened by the fact S250 has normally been the one to point OUT the various G1 KOs, and has yet to post a set of shots of something that was truely fake

No one has picked up on the fact it seems that he's all plastic yet.

Kinda hoped it would be Soundwave...
Maybe it will be an 'improved' soundwave, but I doubt it.
And about the remark that it is all plastic... Well...
We can hope that it is another case where Hasbro just have an all plastic prototype and the actual product would have die-cast. Just like their re-release of the MP01. They said that the prototype is plastic, but the release would be with die-cast parts.

I thought the only die cast parts on G1 Soundwave were his feet. (which look to be die cast in the pics).

I think they're talking about the cassette bodies, which were diecast, but look to be yellow plastic in the pics.

Depending on the price, the cassettes and the soundblaster mould may make it worth it for a man who already spent 60 bucks for a reissue soundwave a ways back.

I will definately buy this if it gets released. I don't care if it's in blue or black. I'll get it either way. Though I would kind of prefer if it were Soundblaster.
