Easy Question, what would you prefer going forward?

Should Takara Tomy continue reissuing the vintage G1 figures we know and love?

    OR

Should they take our favorite characters and modernize them in the Classics line?

Personally, I'm taking the Classics option because I'd like to see newer versions of my favorite characters. Give me a CHUG Devastator, Predaking, and Menasor over reissues anyday:2c: .

Don't get me wrong, I love G1 toys still but after so many years, I wouldn't freak out if Takara Tomy never reissued another G1 figure.

I take the third option, which is everyone stops using CHUG.

As much as I like my G1 reissues, I prefer the updated Classics version.

    I don't collect G1 anymore.

I'm all about Neo G1. So I'd go with United or whatever name TakaraTomy comes up with next.

For the most part, I like my G1s vintage originals.
So, sign me up for Classics.

    BOTH

I like displaying them as "Then and Now".

While you will get better articulation from the new stuff, the originals started it all, and were made of sterner stuff....like die-cast and better plastics. They're like classic cars. While today's Mustangs may be faster and are better handling, the 1965's still have class and grace. :)

Lemme think, outdated bricks, or highly articulated previously fiction-only characters?

No contest. More Classics. (and less CHUG. stupid acronym.)

Give me more CHUG figures. I think there are plenty of reissues available, but not every G1 character has an update.

    I want both.

I want reissues more, mostly because I literally know what I don't have, and it'd be nice to own nice, minty fresh new versions of old toys...especially the ones that can be quite expensive to track down and purchase complete. Plus it'd be nice for people to own a non-broken Black Zarak that isn't incredibly expensive and could break anyways thanks to the GPS if a reissue corrects the problem, or one of the Fort/Grand/Brave Maximus figures while not shelling out $1000+ for it (I know a reissue of any by Takara would be expensive, and even more for American buyers because of what it'd cost to import it to BBTS/TFSource/Toy Arena/etc., but it'd still be much cheaper to buy a $250-400 reissue than a $1000 original).

A Classics-style Black Zarak/___ Maximus or whatever else would be awesome and certainly welcomed (why I say I want both), but it wouldn't make me feel any better about how unlikely it is that I'll own certain G1 originals that I have interest in without a potential reissue.

    I say Classics.

But only because i already have all the vintage and reissue G1s I want, with only 1 or 2 exceptions.

Gah! I voted 'reissues' before I saw 'both'. A voting faux pas I guess.

FIRST.... down with the CHUG acronym lol..

Second, I voted for both simply because I would love a reissue of the Dinobots and Overlord..
