I can't seem to remember if it has been stated that there will be a G1 Optimus reissue to coincide with the movie release. Does anyone know if this has been confirmed?

Maybe confused with the "TF Movie Anniversary Edition" MP/20th Optimus Prime?

I would be surprised if there wasn't one.

There was a rumor of a TRU exclusive line of reissues of various Primes and Primals through all lines up through Energon, but that is all we've really heard.

Hmmm, it think its the "master piece" version. Don't recall a G1 reissue at all...

I'd imagine we'll see one in time for the movie. We're seeing it already, in a sense - we were told the movie characters would see a push in the run up to the movie, and boom! right in line with his rumoured use in the movie, we have a Soundwave reissue, a Soundwave Titanium, Classics Soundwave (rumoured) and a Soundwave stealth bomber. Bit coincidental that the first three happen to be upcoming, even if Soundwave is going to be written out / renamed.
Then there's the confirmed use of Bumblebee, and he's in the Classics line.

In my mind, it sort of lends weight to that report.

Almost seems likely that they'd release him again, but who knows?

Can't think of a reason why they would'nt. He's the biggest moneymaker for TF's, doubt they'd leave him out during this upcoming big moment for Hasbro
