I have the 22 Starscream and his arm joints are very lose right out of the box. I have a TRU Skywarp and his arm joints are nice and tight. Why is that? Too bad for the TRU weapons. Finding the vintage weapons for him has been an impossible task.

It's a pity they didn't paint the faces, or at least the optics, of the reissue seekers.

If you mean the black sections on the body of the fuselage, was a rather common problem with the original Starscream reissue.

All original 6 Japanese reissues have the loose arms. Also Ghost Starscream & Black Starscream I believe (and I imagine the all clear Starscream). They were corrected for the US releases and all subsequent Japanese releases (TF Collection Starscream, Sunstorm, Encore Starscream, Encore Skywarp & Thundercracker).

Would you say that the Encore is of better quality than my 22?

Yes just because he doesn't have loose arms. Though I don't like the light yellow window (it's not orange) of the Encore. I prefer the gray or the orange in this case.

That would've been awesome, since I loathe those tiny eye stickers and trying to put them on.

Unfortunately only Dirge has seen any kind of mass-release reissue, as part of the Hasbro Commemorative line. None of the Coneheads have seen a mass-release reissue from Takara, just the convention exclusive reissues that sell for a high price online.

I still hope for a Ramjet/Thrust Encore two-pack to be released, amongst other things with Encore seemingly back and the Dinobots rumored.

Buying the reissue Starscream back in the early 2000s made me realize I really do not like that toy. I am perfectly fine with the limitations of most G1 toys and like them anyway, but not that one. I wish I hadn't tried to put the stickers on it.
