I have a G1 Huffer that I suspect is a reissue. It's stamped 'Takara' and 'Made In China' on the back. The quality is great and the rubsign is just as good as any of my other vintage Transformers. Any view on this?

that is some chrome wear for a re-issue, but could be.

My Re-issue on has the Takara and China stamp on the back and the same decals and rubsign.

That said I cannot confirm it, but I cannot disprove it either.

Huffer was part of the BookStyle Takara re-issues from a few years back.

Not sure what the stamp on it is though.

I'll check out mine when I get home. What year is it stamped with?

I was checking my pics on flickr, and mine has purple under the chrome wear on the pipes.

It's not chrome wear, only reflection.

    Yours have no year stamp?

Awesome, thanks! Mine has no year stamp at all.

Just checked my BookStyle reissue one and it simply says Takara and China, no datestamp.

Thanks for your help everyone! Man, I really hate people selling reissue figures and claiming that they are vintage.

No don't be. I'll go grab a vintage one off ebay later :)  Yeah, most of them out there have at least some chrome wear on the arms, Pipes as well.

The reissue Huffer (and other Minibots) actually go for money than a vintage released one bizarrely...
