Hey guys, quick question. Did the reissue Blaster have a working tape door? My vintage one doesn't work and I believe none of the vintage Hasbro ones did.

Yes the reissues door does open and yes vintage blasters did as well, however they were very prone to breaking. My vintage one opens very hard so I don't open it often.

I have the reissue Twincast and it does work. The tape door on that Blaster/Twincast breaks easily, so it is rare to find, a vintage working one.

I hear it can be easily fixed, though... I don't have Blaster yet, so I wouldn't know

Sure! The reissues of him and twincast actually work really well. I have them both. I don't have a vintage twincast though He was too pricey thats why I got the reissue. My vintage Blaster is a B*tch to get open though but it does open.

Yes, it is quite easy to fix. I purchased an original G1 Blaster and the door would not open. I fixed it easily after I got it home.
