Why do you have to pit the G1 characters I relate to so closely against each other?

Thanks for reminding me. The more I think about it, the more this really stands out as less of a real "Battle" and more of a raw popularity contest.

TB should take this fight and move on to either give Superion a major run for his money or at least another upset.

Either way I guess you could be saying Springer was more popular. I am slightly surprised more TB fans didnt come vote for him though...

 

Yeah, weird... it seems that those who favour Trailbreaker are just a vocal minority.

I based my vote for TB on the notion that he wouldn't just sit there behind his forcefield, but rather put his sharp tactical sense to work on using the field as leverage to defeat Springer (pinning or crushing him against a cliff wall or something). Embarrassing for Springer, because without the forcefield, Trailbreaker wouldn't stand a chance. Springer is almost undoubtedly the stronger, faster, more skilled adversary (random TB goofy feats from the cartoon aside).
