I recently found my MMPR morpher and sword gun packed up in the basement. I'm 21 and PR just had thier 15th anniversary. I never felt "old" until then. The morpher was in rough shape. The paint was damn near 80 percent gone, the stickers were barely there, and the batteries hardly worked(thank god they're cells). I also noticed thatReprolabels had startded doing Power Ranger stuff, and had been making some different morpher sets. I ordered up the original and thus the project began. I started by taking of the mopher "faceplates", and used a hunk a Goo Gone gel to get off the old stickers. I then soaked 'em over night in some 91% alcohol to get off the remaining paint and then the they were given a good wash Afterwards it was a 3 day process of laying down thin coats of Tamiya Silver spray paint. I used a method I have before here. The silver was very shiney after all the thin coats(I personally have found if you apply it right you can almost get a mirror chrome like finish). In order to flatten the silver I sealed the face plates with regular Tamiya clear coat. IMO it gave a Bandai factory like finish I changed the batteries, put it all back together after a good 7 days of curing, and there's another one for the books. I'm probably gonna put this on eBay in the near future.
