I think they're supposed to be part of the Insurrection against the UNSC, which was what the Spartans were originally created to fight before humanity and the covenant crossed paths. Also I see now that the boxset is refered to as the first Decade, I should have paid more attention to the word FIRST.

Man, am I the only one creeped out by Sigma? His voice is damn scary, with the low-pitch echo, and his behavior in general is pretty scary.
I like where the Freelancer stuff is going with York and North trying to figure out what's going on with the AI. The Director also seems to be losing patience, that won't end well.
Yeah... Poor Florida. Anyway, episode 7- Best Episode in this season IMO. Followed by episode 2. It was epic as hell. We know that either C.T is still alive, and the C.T at the dig site was just a fake, or that they're just going to search for the body. Man, epic blue Freelancer ahoy! It's like Roosterteeth are just teasing us with this guy! XD Man, the female knife Insurrectionist is HAWT. C.T is obviously concerned about her betrayal. Another successful test, huh? I wonder which A.I. that was. Another A.I. harvested? KNOCK KNOCK. Carolina reports, The Director obviously wants to kill C.T so that her armor and Freelancer tech won't fall into the wrong hands. Caboose being Caboose. Move along. Now I realize, Wash grew a hell lot more dark and serious since Project Freelancer when he appeared in Recovery 1. He's been through too much, I guess. But still, lol @ Eating inside his helmet. And man, this whole A.I fragments being addicted to the topic of the Alpha is so interesting. They need to publish episodes more often. LIKE, EVERY HOUR OR SO.
Yeah I think once I rip my DVD of this season in a few months and add the file to my TVs hard drive I'll have it on loop a few times. well it says "several Year ago" so..... I imagine thats sometime. and we know that Epsilon going insane inside his head had a pretty brutal effect on his psych.
